Epsom Symphony Orchestra Concert; Romance & Revolution 23 March

Rehearsals are going well for an exciting concert to be brought to you in March by the Epsom Symphony Orchestra.
We begin with Tchaikovsky’s iconic Romeo and Juliet Overture, from which you’ll be sure to recognise the famous love theme.
The first half concludes with Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, a work for piano & orchestra, resembling a concerto, in one movement.
We finish with Shostakovich’s 5th Symphony, a work of profound emotional depth and musical ingenuity, guaranteed to deliver an unforgettable experience.
