Meet the founder of We Power On! 🤝

Christopher Waller 🌟

Join us for a night of the best beats and eats at Epsom Social. DJs will be serving up a fusion of house, funk, electro and old school beats in support of We Power On and men’s mental health. Delicious food from ES vendors will be available and drinks from the ES bar will be flowing.

We Power On was set up by Christopher Waller to raise awareness around men’s mental health, tackle loneliness and give men an outlet to talk, walk and get support. Christopher volunteers his time each week to facilitate much needed walks for men in the local area providing a non-judgmental space for men to get things off their chest and feel less alone.

Meet your DJs for the night! 🎧

Gumbo DJ 🎧

DJing since 1989. It all started with Chicago House and Detroit Techno against a background of the Second Summer of Love and dancing until dawn. Spinning old and new classic house and electronica via bass, beats and breaks.

DJ Hildee 🎧

Part of a female DJ collective, Vulva Underground, hailing from South London. Plays an eclectic mix bouncing from funk, disco, classic hip-hop, house to D&B, and all that falls in-between.

Charlie Marbles 🎧

First generation UK B-boy turned his hand to DJing in ‘88 due to ongoing hip hop addiction, still with no recovery in sight. Playing funk, old school / golden age rap, electro, film soundtracks, disco breaks, post-punk and new wave.

#UTM 🎧

A selector in venues around East London such as Troy Bar and at street party bass aficionado. All good music is fair game but you can always expect to hear some lovers, rockers, steppers, two-tone and dub.
