Family Fridays Are Back For 2026

Family Fridays

Families across Surrey are invited to mark their calendars as Go Epsom’s much-loved Family Fridays return for 2026 — bigger, better and packed with even more free activities for all ages.

Back by popular demand, these vibrant community events will once again bring Epsom’s historic Marketplace to life with fun, creativity, and entertainment, giving families a fantastic day out without the usual expenses. Epsom’s Rotary club, community groups and charities all get involved in Family Fridays – we hope to see you there this year!

Family Fridays will take place on the following dates:

              • Friday 29th May 2026
              • Every Friday from 24th July to 28th August 2026
              • Time: 12:00pm – 4:30pm
              • Location: Epsom Marketplace

Family Fridays has quickly become a highlight of the local events calendar, attracting families from across Epsom and surrounding areas. This year’s programme promises an even wider range of activities, ensuring there is something for everyone, from toddlers to teenagers and parents alike.

Visitors can expect a lively mix of entertainment and hands-on experiences, including Traditional Puppet Shows, Arts and Crafts, Teacup Rides, Climbing Wall, Caving Experiences, Crazy Golf, Circus Skills and Hula Hooping. Even more activities are set to be added for 2026, making each Friday feel fresh and exciting.

Whether families are looking to get creative, stay active, or simply enjoy time together in a welcoming outdoor setting, Family Fridays offers a relaxed and inclusive environment right in the heart of the town.

Organised by Go Epsom, the town’s Business Improvement District (BID), Family Fridays is part of a wider commitment to supporting the local community, boosting footfall in the town centre, and creating memorable experiences for residents and visitors. This year, the initiative is expanding its community focus further, with plans to work alongside and support local charities throughout the event series. The charities are doing this for free, a small donation would be appreciated. This added element will help raise awareness for important causes while keeping the focus firmly on community engagement.

There is no entry fee, and all activities are completely free. There is also no need to book in advance — families can simply turn up and take part. This makes it an ideal option during the school holidays, offering high-quality entertainment without the financial pressure.

Family FridaysKaren Pengelly, Business District Improvement Manager said:

“Family Fridays has become a much-anticipated part of the summer in Epsom, and we are delighted to be bringing it back once again. It is incredibly important to us that families have access to affordable ways to spend time together, particularly during the school holidays when costs can quickly increase.

By offering a wide range of fun, free activities for all ages, we are creating an inclusive environment where everyone can take part and enjoy themselves. This year, we are also looking forward to supporting local charities and highlighting the fantastic work they do across our community.”
