Go Epsom is pleased to announce that Family Fridays will be returning to Epsom’s marketplace from the 28th July, running for 5 weeks, they will take place every Friday from 12 noon onwards.
Featuring traditional Puppet Shows, Arts & Crafts, tea cup rides, live music and a different weekly entertainment theme, Family Fridays are free to attend and all activities are free too!
You can drop in for 15 minutes to catch a puppet show or stay for the afternoon – it’s a free and fun way to keep children entertained through the very long school holidays.
The first Family Friday on 28th July sees the arrival of the Natural History Roadshow with a dinosaur theme. Dinosaur arts and crafts, and there’s a rumour that an animatronic dinosaur will put in an appearance!

The Travelling Natural History show.
A full afternoon dinosaur themed event with The Travelling Natural History show. The non-stop afternoon will includes lots of hands on activities and shows with lots of information about dinosaurs and fossils. There will also be dinosaur puppets and fossils plus appearances from a 4m long animatronic dinosaur

Circus Skill Workshop with Johnny Slapp
Johnny’s blend of slapstick comedy & circus skills have seen him perform all over the world, and his love of teaching his skills to others through circus skills workshops make for a great day of fun.

Back by popular demand, the amazing Angie Mack will once again bring her hula hoop show and workshop to Epsom Marketplace.

Everywhere’s a Beach – Hikipee
Everywhere’s a Beach is a dynamic, exciting and somewhat ridiculous show which celebrates everything beach related. Taking place on a giant, spinning parasol, we see three highly skilled performers weave impressive tricks into a story for the whole family to enjoy. This high energy performance, on this bespoke structure is a truly unique production

Magic Show with Matthew Garrett
We end our Family Fridays with Magic. Matthew is not only a full Member of The Magic Circle but has also reached the highest degree level within the society – Member of The Inner Magic Circle (Less than 300 magicians worldwide reach this). His shows and close-up magic will have you amazed.
Every Friday 12pm- 5pm
As well as the shows above every Friday there will be arts and crafts*, Free Tea Cup Rides, puppet shows* and music.
