Consisting of 10 original, commissioned artworks that focus on the rich history and heritage of Epsom, the installation was created by British artist, Eliza Southwood.

Depicting Epsom Salts, busy markets, heritage buildings, horse racing and famous events, the imagery is reminiscent of iconic travel posters from the 1920’s, but has been given a strong, contemporary and striking look. The artworks are printed on plywood, an unusual and innovative method, in part to reduce the use of plastics in the project.

Karen Pengelly, BID Manager at Go Epsom said “It’s so good to finally see the artworks in place, they will be appreciated by so many people and do such a good job of telling a story about our lovely town. This is just one element that is going towards building a better visitor experience to Epsom”

Visitors to Epsom will be able to pick up postcard sets of the artworks from numerous local businesses throughout the autumn.
