A new food hall, called Epsom Social, is opening its doors in the heart of Epsom in summer 2022. The 200 seat venue will host 9 food vendors, with a central bar serving local coffee, craft beer, cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. There is also a performance area where there will be a curated range of events such as live music, sport on a large screen, comedy nights, cultural events and cooking demonstrations.
Epsom Social is brought to you by hospitality industry entrepreneur, Peter Farrell, and the team behind Street Food Markets, both of whom have many years of experience launching and operating in the food and hospitality sector. The team are also collaborating and working closely with the owners of Epsom Square, Burlywood Properties, to deliver this exciting new venture.
Epsom Social will be located in the heart of the town, at Epsom Square, just off the high street and 1 minute from the train station. The food hall has been carefully designed to cater for food operators wanting to establish themselves in a unique and dynamic setting. Our focus is on creating an inclusive, vibrant, social space for the Epsom community, alongside showcasing exciting street food concepts and curating a great events programme using local artists and creatives. With Picturehouse cinema also due to launch this year, Epsom Square will surely soon become a destination for food and entertainment.
Co-founder of Epsom Social, Peter Farrell, said: “We are proud to be building on the iconic history of Epsom, creating the area’s first food hall that will offer an exciting range of food options, excellent local beers, wines and cocktails, and a destination space for entertainment.”
