Once again Marks and Spencer have teamed up with Oxfam to bring you Shwopping. Since 2008 the M&S and Oxfam Shwopping partnership has collected over 35 million items, worth an estimated £23 million for Oxfam’s vital work across the world. Every time you place pre-loved clothes in one of our Shwop boxes it helps to do something good for the planet. Your pre-loved items are then resold, reused or recycled and absolutely nothing goes to waste.
Shwopping is about bringing a pre-loved item of clothing into M&S Epsom in the Ashley Centre (even if it’s not from M&S) each time you come to buy something new. You can put your pre-loved items into a ‘Shwop’ box (you’ll find these by the tills).
You can also take your unwanted clothes to Oxfam in the High St and receive a £5 M&S voucher off a £35 spend on clothing, home and beauty products in M&S stores as long as your donation contains at least one item of M&S labelled clothing or M&S soft furnishings (excludes sale and clearance items)
